The partners will switch when they get down to the end of the first line (so both students will get a chance to push). 8/22-8/26 Pe Lessons
Mon. each student will receive an assigned color number(line) to sit on that will be his/hers all year round. also continue to introduce the daily exercises and moving around the gym while working on starting and stopping on the coaches command.
Tues. we will check the roll(not attendance) after the students have entered the gym and taken their places on the assigned color numbers to help the students who may not remember their assigned color number. We will continue to move the students around the gym pretending to be different animals or just walking and let them work on starting and stopping on the coaches command. also letting the students return to their color number several times during the class to help them learn where their color number is.
Wed. Half of the students will go to the playground and learn the playground rules and then play on the playground. they other half of the students will remain in the gym and continue practicing starting and stopping on command.. we will incorporate music today as our start and stop command so the students can start getting used to that. we will eventually only use the music to start and stop the students while doing activities.

Mon.- we will be playing tunnel, fitness, and sit down tag. practicing chasing, fleeing, and dodging.
Tues.- islands. each student will be practicing locomotor skills and also sharing there space while standing on and island(in a hoop)
Wed.- Dribbling. each student will have a chance to dribble the ball while standing still and while walking.
Thurs. dribbling and passing. each student will take turns dribbling and passing to a partner (bounce pass and chest pass)
Fri. outside or scooters depending on the weather.

Lessons for 11/11-11/14
11/11- today the students will be playing a game called islands. they will be practicing locomotor skills and also starting and stopping with the music and sharing space.
11/12- all the students will take turns while doing several different relays using locomoteor skills.
11/13- tunnell tag, fitness tag, and sit down tag.
11/14- scooter relays. each student will have a chance to ride the scooters forward, backward, a nd on there stomach..
