Mon. each student will receive an assigned color number(line) to sit on that will be his/hers all year round. also continue to introduce the daily exercises and moving around the gym while working on starting and stopping on the coaches command.
Tues. we will check the roll(not attendance) after the students have entered the gym and taken their places on the assigned color numbers to help the students who may not remember their assigned color number. We will continue to move the students around the gym pretending to be different animals or just walking and let them work on starting and stopping on the coaches command. also letting the students return to their color number several times during the class to help them learn where their color number is.
Wed. Half of the students will go to the playground and learn the playground rules and then play on the playground. they other half of the students will remain in the gym and continue practicing starting and stopping on command.. we will incorporate music today as our start and stop command so the students can start getting used to that. we will eventually only use the music to start and stop the students while doing activities.
